| 4:24 pm | A dream and possible revelation While I often have dreams, I rarely remember them nearly as clearly as I do this one. The dream started in a sea of green; the Lifestream. At first, I thought that I had returned to it once again; the voices of the other Cetra were around me, comforting and warm as always, and the 'Stream's flow was gentle. However, soon I felt a presence we Cetra rarely have the full attention of: the Planet Herself. You may think it odd that an "inanimate" object like a planet would have a mind at all, but believe me when I say that the force of such a being is far beyond what a normal human would be capable of handling for any length of time. Even Cetra have difficulty, which is why my fellow Cetra in the Lifestream were around me, distracting bits of my mind here and there with the questions and gossip they so love. The Planet knows Her mind is an overwhelming thing to humans; after all, She must watch everything that is happening to Herself. Births, deaths, wars, peace... illness and recovery. It was these last two that She wished to "discuss" with me. Together we peered through the Lifestream to watch Her progress in destroying the last of the Jenova cells polluting our world. Nearly all of the Calamity's influence is gone... except, of course, in the living bodies of a few people many of us know and love. I tried to convey to her my concern- not only for the ones at the Fort who are suffering, but for Cloud as well (and really, anyone who is dealing with this affliction). I needn't have bothered, really; the Planet is very like a mother in that She often knows your concerns before you can even voice them. After observing those affected, She turned my attention to someone who has been right under our noses for the past several weeks, and we noticed something interesting. Vanyel, dear, I realize that this isn't your problem, but the Planet pointed to you as part of, if not the, solution for this illness so many are dealing with. | 11:15 am | After reading the other journals... I have to say that I'm not happy at all with Marlene's conclusion to what's going on regarding her Papa. I have to admit, I've searched for him using the Ancients, but they seem to be getting mixed signals on where he is or what he's doing. Which is very strange indeed, because it's not like them to not get where someone is unless they returned to the Planet... Has anyone heard anything about where Barret is? I know that Cloud's been looking into the matter, but I wanted to check with the rest of you. One way or another we need to resolve this issue, and I would think fairly quickly.
